new to the board and one of the elder folks

Hi everyone,
I'm new to the bbs, and really like it here, but there is plenty to learn. Is there a file you can get to read later or maybe read on the zone which gives you more info about how to not see things like the stuff about the quick notes unless you actually have one?
also, how do you read all the newest posts on the board for a certain topics?

for me, I'm going to be turning 69 here in July, and so I am not sure if I like this getting old business, but I bet most of you have the same belief on that one, right?

If any of you have any suggestions for me, I'd sure appreciate it immensely.
